Students will be engaged in the classroom and at home with a document camera. The camera will allow me to use math manipulatives, books, and handouts and project them for students to view. I chose a document camera with good reviews that allows me to project what I am teaching and also record lessons for students. The math manipulatives chosen can be used in the classroom by students and by myself to demonstrate key concepts. They can also be used in recorded lessons with the document camera. Students are struggling with lots of feelings and emotions in light of COVID-19. These books selected will be used to highlight feelings and emotions and teach social-emotional lessons. Students need labels to identify their feelings and tools to learn to cope.
