First graders can be a bit wiggly and having them sit in a chair at a desk is not always feasible. These materials will give my students the chance to have varied sitting options during centers while reading or during learning time. These materials also make my classroom feel more like home, especially since my students are coming back from a year of virtual learning. This will help them get used to being back in the classroom. These will allow my students to be able to move their little bodies when sitting in a chair is too much.
