Theses materials will make a difference in my classroom by creating exciting, fun reading spots for my students. Students learn better and are more engaged when they are in comfortable surroundings! Students love to read under tables and in special spots. They also use different chairs, flex seating and tents to gather in learning pairs. Our current classroom desk is falling apart and I use a desk to create a cozy area next to a table with a special rug, pillows and lights. This happens to be one of their favorite spots. Not only do students love to be tucked under the desk and table but they want to sit at the desk with me or in pairs for reading. This desk is used by all students to receive extra help or simply just for support. All of the materials requested will be used daily by students! The nooks that I create provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for students to excel and share their reading skills with each other. Help us make reading fun!
