I am requesting several items to restock my treasure box that will help to incentivize hard work by my students. I use a class money-based system where students can "buy" from the treasure box so they also get the opportunity to practice counting money. These rewards will not only help incentivize working hard academically but also when they are doing the right thing and making good personal choices. Being an IB world school, students are taught to follow an IB learner profile which includes attributes such as being caring, reflective, open-minded, and principled which are all attributes I look for in my classroom.
