We have several lessons in our literacy program that teaches Greek Mythology. Having this rug will allow students to compare where these myths originated and where the students live. Other literacy lessons teach about other religious and customary practices from around the world. With this rug, students will be able to compare the literacy items to a real place on a map. Students are the future to our world. Allow me to introduce the big world to my little students before they go out to explore it on their own.
