As a first-year teacher, I plan to use resources from Teachers Pay Teachers to create an organized and labelled classroom. This will make it easier for my students to locate items and materials in our classroom and to learn organization skills. Labelling is especially important because they provide visual cues. It also exposes students to a print-rich environment. I plan to label specific areas, objects and containers. My students will learn the importance of being organized in a safe environment. They will also learn how to apply organizational skills to their everyday lives.
