These books will help me to address race and talk about diversity in my preschool classroom. I want to have books and materials that have black characters and represent the children in my classroom. I have included some decor items to create a cozy home-like environment. There is a lamp that I will use in place of the fluorescent lighting in the school which some students are sensitive to. I have some games to promote interactions with all of my students including students with developmental delays. I want to empower students that are BIPOC and other diverse backgrounds to feel included and welcome.
