Currently our charter school is housed in an old building and we work with what we have. The items funded through this project would help make the environment a welcoming, peaceful, and healing. A desk, chair, and filing cabinet would allow me to work efficiently, finding grants to support health and wellness, connecting families with community resources, and charting the care the children receive. The sound machine and door hanger would provide students privacy when seeking care. The plants and art work are a staple of a Montessori environment. By providing the pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff, and thermometer this will ensure that the children as receiving high quality well rounded care. Ice packs and ace bandages are one more way to serve the students and promote healing.
