With your help, my students will have a comfortable place to read, relax, and decompress. I strive for my classroom to feel like a “home base” for students. A happy inviting room that they are comfortable in. The flexible seating options will give my students access to make decisions that best suit them. When students are comfortable and feel at ease in a space, their learning grows! With the structure that was forced upon us last year, it will be amazing to allow my students some choice in their surroundings. These flexible seating options will benefit all of my students especially my students who need to be active when being active isn’t an option. These seating options will allow them to move without disrupting other students and aid in completing tasks and assignments for myself and other teachers. All of the options I have chosen are easily cleaned which is a COVID requirement I can meet easily. They are also lightweight so that myself and my students can move about the classroom without disturbing others. Giving my students choice and ownership in their day typically results in greater motivation and success. Which is what it is all about!
