By having an iPad in a self contained classroom it enables all the students to use it by making this iPad a positive reinforcement to get their goals accomplished and try their best. Along with it being positive reinforcement the students will get the opportunity to play educational games as a break from the paper and pencil environment. It's a positive reinforcement while using it for educational purposes. I've seen iPads such as the one I want excel in a self contained classroom at keeping the students focused at the task at had.
