When students are in control of their mental health, they are able to perform their best academically. Our students will be a part of group therapy at school, during ancillary periods. They will learn in small groups, and individually, how to deal with social/emotional issues that can often get in the way of their academic performance. They will participate in play therapy techniques and other solution-focused interventions that will help them to discover the strength within themselves to cope with issues they face. They will have a safe place for sharing issues and for learning techniques in fun and interesting ways.
