By providing my first graders Magna-Tiles, Botley the Robot, Code & Go Robot Mouse, and building materials, you will be helping to set up STEAM success at our new school. This early exposure to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math will lay the foundation for the problem solving and cooperation skills that they will need throughout their school careers and in life. These learning tools will allow students to explore, create, and collaborate with classmates in a hands-on manner. Technology is the future, so introducing age-appropriate opportunities for practice is crucial. The included robots are ideal practice for exposing young children to coding. Additionally, the building materials (Magna-Tiles, Playstix, Legos, and various building blocks) will teach children to persevere and develop solutions to engineering challenges. These materials will provide invaluable hands-on learning experiences that will make well-rounded learners!
