I have selected 5 books about developing teen leadership skills to help my already amazing Student Government Class develop even more skills and tools to lead our school in an exciting, inclusionary and caring way. Students will read different books each semester and have group discussions about the insights they have gained and tools they plan to utilize throughout the school year. The donations to this project will help my students learn about and understand that being a leader includes life-long learning, goal setting, and listening to others. I feel that reading is a very important part of education and strongly feel that reading should be integrated into my Student Government Class. Donations to this project will help make the goal of reading in my curriculum a reality.
