I am looking to incorporate one thing that all my students will understand (regardless of their background)... CHOICE! I would like to implement flexible seating into my classroom this year after seeing the effects of being stuck in a desk all year due to COVID-19. I would like to create a space where my students feel they have the ability to choose where they can work best and explore their learning styles. Young children may often feel that they don't make enough of their own choices at home or at school. Help me give my students the opportunity to make more of their own choices each and every day by implementing flexible seating options in my classroom. My students will be able to explore where they learn best in the classroom and, when necessary, they will be able to easily move to a spot that helps them to focus better. They will also be given variety in their options to choose from!
