I have requested box sets for various popular books for my students. These box sets will be used to help form literature circle groups and implement student choice! Literature circles allow students autonomy in the classroom and help them engage with the material and discussion in class. These diverse books will give students options for reading and hopefully expound their own literary tastes. Graphic novels, science fiction, realistic fiction, and informational texts are just a few of the box sets that I want in my classroom. I want students to see what different genres have to offer and experiment with them.
