Our school is implementing project-based learning as its primary instructional method. This allows students to learn content through authentic projects, in which they collaborate, make mistakes, refine their ideas, and create meaningful artifacts of their learning. My goal is to make science fun and engaging for high school students! These items will help my students learn skills like agency, collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork as they move through these project-based units. Our school is a brand new campus and is truly built for students to collaborate -- courtyards, conference rooms, work tables, moveable seating in large collaboration areas -- I envision my students using all of the items requested to aid their collaboration and present their ideas.
