The Watch Me Grow! Student Binder will be the first point of contact for the 8th grade ELA and Studies Skills class at Aiea Intermediate. The binder will house both in progress and completed works, thus acting as a portfolio of academic progress. In addition, many of this demographic experience housing insecurity. Thus, providing a space for all work to be house, creates a stability and consistency necessary for both academic as well as social emotional growth. Alleviating the anxiety of transporting work from school to 'home' and vice versa.
