Dissecting owl pellets will teach the students many different things. They will learn about the diets of owls in the wild and be able to piece together the skeleton of their prey. They will learn about the food chain and the difference between predator and prey. They will also be able to investigate the ecosystem in which an owl lives and discover other plants and animals that live with it. Dissecting these pellets will let the students also go through the scientific process and record their findings. Please consider donating.
