Our school follows a Project-Based Learning curriculum, and in our class, specifically, our projects take the form of Reader's and Writer's Workshop! These workshops do require a diversity of texts for students to choose and read from, which also serve as mentor texts for students' writing! These titles are celebrated by authors, educators, and readers around the world, and were selected with our students in mind--honoring their languages, cultures, and identities! Your contribution will not only help me provide access and opportunities for my students to explore theirs and others' stories, but also grow as readers and writers!!

About my class
