Our school library has been closed due to COVID restrictions and unavailability of a full-time, certified librarian. This school year, I am re-thinking our library and opening it back up for our students and teachers! To engage our students and educators, we are implementing a coffee cafe area. Students and teachers will be able to purchase coffee before school and during lunch hours. This project is part of out Library Ambassador Program, and students will develop and utilize management and customer service skills as they help run the coffee cafe. In addition, this unique area of our library will encourage students to come back to the library and utilize our space and resources. The 21st-Century library is more than just a space for book storage - let's get out students interested and excited for the re-opening of our school library!
