In my class, I teach 6th grade reading, writing, math and 7th grade Texas history. I want these students to come into my room and never want to leave. I want them to be comfortable and ready to learn. I want this room to be a safe, trusting place where they can come and know not only are they in a cool space but that we are there to learn. No matter what they need, I am the place they can be themselves and work hard to reach common goals. Work hard to move forward and succeed. In utilizing the different seating options on my list, students can feel comfortable and focus on learning.
