Our class participates in rotations every morning. During rotation teaching, there is an independent work station. In this area, my students work independently on their known or acquired skills. They must work diligently to complete these tasks in the order that they are presented. Shoebox Tasks are highly motivational to students and are durable, non-toxic kits. In my classroom, I have shoebox tasks that I have developed on my own. During independent work stations, my students remain highly engaged with task boxes. The Centering on Children Shoebox tasks are produced with high quality plastic and wood material, making the activities more easily manipulatable for my students. These tasks boxes will allow my students to develop into prosperous independent learners.
