Students will be able to discover different genres of literature as well as informational texts and learn to read in the wild. Reading in the wild means daily reading of informational texts, reading for pleasure, and reading for a purpose. When students have easy access to a variety of books they expand their perspectives and deepen their comprehension. Students will have guided reading time as well as silent reading. Reading in different settings prepares the student to go out into the world and be a wild reader. Oh the places we'll go!
