Two heads work better than one. In Science, collaborative group work allows students to learn from each other by giving and receiving feedback. I enjoy providing students the opportunity to work together because it is less stressful for them and students are more likely to complete their assignments. However, I will have to say the biggest benefit is I get to see another side of my students as they are working with their peers. With your help, I will be able to give them dry erase markers and whiteboards for them to engage and interact with each other and me. Lastly, the paper will allow me to print newsletters for their parents to be notified about assignments and experiments that they have completed in the classroom.
