Students across the world missed out on many classroom opportunities last year. The collaboration and social skills taught in the classroom were heavily adapted to keep students safe. It was heartbreaking and challenging to keep saying, "Stay in your space, please," or "No, we can't use these right now." I'm ready to amp up the learning and critical thinking we missed out on last year right away. These games will be used as a daily morning choice so that students who choose can get their brains started on the right track, a soft start to learning. Board games can be used for small groups and then again when we encounter those rainy recess days. And of course, pouches to store the games and materials in so that pieces don't get lost and games have a 'home' when boxes get smashed!
