The books will be used in my class during Advanced Content Guided Reading time. The students need more structured books that provide them with the opportunity to ask questions, find text evidence, and make connections. Having several books across several reading levels and genres will allow my students the most exposure to books possible. My students need these books to make the most of their time in guided reading groups and help them bloom as readers. There is so much value and learning to be had during book discussions. Having multiple copies of quality literature allows students to engage with their texts independently and collaboratively.
