I want to give children the opportunity to relate to a book from titles such as Rosie Revere Enginere to Taylor the Tooting Turkey. The books on my list are about all kinds of things from holidays to learning how to apologize. I believe being able to have read alouds with books like these make the learning experience more interesting and by donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. It gives them something they can relate to. Books open imaginations and unlock a new way of learning. It can also reassure students they are not alone.
