I want to utilize the books during small group instruction. Having many books at their different levels will help motivate them and increase their interest in a variety of books. Differentiated instruction requires leveled books to meet individual students reading needs. When a book is too challenging to read, students can become easily frustrated and lose interest in reading it. I am asking for these various leveled books to help enhance my students reading abilities. Having books at their reading level will promote independent reading. Being able to offer students fiction and nonfiction books at their personal levels, will make them stronger readers. Think how excited the students will be when they can pick up a book that they can read on their own!
