This new carpet will give the students a place to come together. We will use this area for whole group learning, small group, and individual students will use it as a place to read. This carpet will add brightness to our room, as well as be another tool for learning. The carpet I picked out has bright colorful squares and the alphabet around the outside with matching pictures. Having the pictures and alphabet on the carpet can be a resource for the kiddos to use in their learning. This certain carpet also assists me (the teacher) with classroom management. Students will have certain spots to sit at for reading and math. With the clear pictures and squares, it helps make transitions easier!
