These materials will benefit student's learning experience. Having essentials guarantees that my students will be ready to learn. I have many students come to school with little to no school supplies. This list of materials will provide students the ability to not have to stress if they have their pencil or glue stick for today's math lesson.
I hope to give my students a stress-free environment where they always know they will have the supplies they need for the day. I have had way too many students become stressed out when they forget their school supplies or when they lose it. I don't want them to feel upset or stressed just because of one missing expo marker.
The whiteboard and rug will be used for math small groups to meet around the room. Pocket charts will be used for students to turn in their work. Stickers will be used for behavioral awards. Glue sticks and scissors will be used for math interactive notebooks. All of these materials will be used by students and myself to successfully run my math classroom.
