With these new classroom materials, my students will have access to an equitable classroom that will be engaging and fun! 80% of our students are low income and many live in a community living program due to family history with drugs/alcohol. All students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Because many students live in unstable living and family situations, many students see our school as a "safe space." I would love for my classroom to also be a "safe space" for students to feel comfortable in so that they can thrive. Many of the items on this list will help me achieve this goal.
