The materials will be used during independent reading time for students to take charge of their learning. It allows for the students to make a choice that is best for them. The students can have safe movement throughout the classroom. Independent reading is where we will start but has we progress throughout the year, we will utilize where fit. I believe flexible seating will increase student engagement during independent reading time. Flexible seating will be beneficial for my students that are fidgety because it will give them a break from their assigned seat.
