In Kindergarten, we spend the majority of our time singing, dancing, and learning on the carpet. Having a nice, comfortable carpet for students to sit on will be one less distraction. I am entering my second year of teaching. Unfortunately, this past year my students sat on a plain grey carpet that was thin and uncomfortable. I could tell from the way they wiggled and squirmed that they did not like sitting during circle time. I am very hopeful to give my students a more comfortable rug this school year, that is also pleasing to the eye. I hope they will be excited for carpet time this year!
