Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. These wobble chairs help students to move their bodies safely while they stay engaged in lessons. In my classroom, I currently have tables of different heights and shapes. Some tables have yoga balls, pillows, and ottomans and others have computer chairs. None of these allow a child to move independently while still sitting upright and focused. Many children who suffer from hyperactivity need to move constantly. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. These five wobble chairs will help my students significantly. There are two sizes chosen for an optimal fit.
