Through these activities students will gain a deeper understanding of math concepts through the use of coding. These activities are designed to have students solve real-world situations by applying multiple math concepts. Through the use of coding the TI Innovator Hub and Rover students will model the math concepts to solve the final challenge. These activities are created to make the math come to life as students solve each challenge through a hands-on method. These activities will also add value to the skills students are learning in their Coding, App and Game Design class, as the skills used to code the TI Innovator Hub and Rover will mirror the skills learned in their shop class. This will also introduce other students to the field of Coding and could spark an interest in a student to pursue that career and technical education class or field of study.
