My students will set up a track station with sand, to see what animals are living on/nearby the high school. I will also have my students make their own track using track molds & plaster. These activities are all hands on & gets my students outdoors. The more nature involvement, the more focused I find my students, and having them collect their own data really improves their overall experience in the class. They are more apt to share with others about how exciting Maine wildlife really is! I look forward to seeing my students learning outcomes at the end of these activities.
