Help me give my students the opportunity to express themselves through interactive play at the sand table and through self expression at the painting easel. My students enter transitional kindergarten at four years old and are not developmentally ready to sit for hours at a time. These fresh young minds still need to use physical touch and imaginative play as a main way to learn and express themselves. An interactive sand table center and a painting center will allow these young learners to, not only have brain breaks throughout the day, but will also allow for the learning that can only take place through interactive and individually expressive activities!

About my class
