My goal is to be the best teacher I can be! By researching and implementing evidence-based best practices for teaching reading scientifically, I can improve phonemic awareness and decoding skills for my special education students. Every student deserves a teacher that never stops learning! I hope to gain the knowledge necessary to give my students the best chance to become successful readers. These books will help me teach reading in a way that is proven to be effective, and give me the skills necessary to strategically build phonological awareness skills for a strong foundation of literacy.
