Flexible seating allows students to take responsibility of their learning. I want to promote a classroom environment where students feel safe and comfortable at all times. During independent work time, students will be allowed to sit where they like in the classroom and be comfortable doing so. This will allow students to be more engaged and take more initiative in their work which will enhance their success for their first year of school. My students are less disruptive and more engaged in their activities when they are allowed to choose where they work. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
