As we return back to school for the new school year, the focus this year will be literacy. I would like to obtain (3) Lending Library Kits. This will be a community project that parents and students will be able to work together to assemble, decorate, and paint. These Lending Libraries will be set up in three different locations through out the campus. These Lending Libraries will provide another opportunity to get a book into the hands of the students. Students will be excited and motivated to exchange a personally owned book with a book from the Lending Library. Students will be able to pass on their books for others to enjoy. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these Lending Libraries will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
