My students take percussion because they have fun making music with their friends. The students learn all percussion instruments including: bass drum, snare drum, timpani, marimba, xylophone, chimes, vibraphone, and the glockenspiel. Each of these instruments require different mallets or sticks to produce the best sound and not harm the instruments. One pair of mallets for one instrument... adds up quickly when students come home with a list of 5 different pairs of mallets they need to play the instruments they want in class. I want to make these instruments more available to students by providing quality mallets to use so they can sound good while keeping our instruments in pristine condition.
