The materials in this project will be used to ensure that every student can participate in our program regardless of their financial situation. This project provides necessary materials for playing music, like drumsticks and reeds. We go through a lot of reeds throughout the year, since these must be replaced periodically. Our middle school concert band students also need reeds. The eyeglass repair kit will help us fix instruments without costly visits to the repair shop. Tissues ensure each student is healthy and comfortable. We will use the ice chest to transport water bottles to the football games. This is necessary throughout the season, but especially in the August heat. Snacks will help students refuel during long band practices and after performances. Providing these materials promotes safety and equity while helping our students feel appreciated. Your donation goes towards the musical and personal development of a North Tulsa teenager.
