The SEL books are intended to help students understand bullying and learn the importance of reporting and prevention of bullying. The math manipulatives will help students visualize when working on counting. I think hands on is a great route to take when working with children especially the younger children. Through my experiences as an assistant, the educators I worked with used them and the students seemed to grasp the concepts easier being able to handle the manipulatives. The students will not be able to take these items home but I will look into alternatives that can be given as take home tools.
