I consider providing the opportunity to students to choose where and with whom to seat enhances their learning and engagement. Flexible seating provides comfort and reduces distraction. It also favors collaboration when pairing with other peers or in groups. When students are engaged in learning, disruption decreases improving their grades and even performance in standardized test. I'm very passionate about teaching and I want my students to feel comfortable in a friendly and caring learning environment. Living in a small community is challenging but I know anything is possible when having the opportunity to serve.
