An uncomfortable student is a distracted and unproductive student. Flexible seating, such as the floor pillows and floor seats, will encourage students to choose where and with whom they will work best. This will promote more on-task behavior. It will also allow students to feel comfortable while reading, writing, and collaborating with peers. Also, students will feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. The floor seats and floor pillows will meet individual sensory needs and provide an environment that promotes the learning of all students.
