As a brand new kindergarten teacher, it is my goal to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all of my students. Having a place for my students and me to come together to learn and build relationships and a sense of community is essential to creating an environment that meets the needs of all students. A classroom rug would enable my students to collaborate, learn, take risks, and play. With this rug, my students will have their own space where they feel safe to share ideas and actively engage in their own learning. With this safe space to learn, students will not only benefit academically but also socially and emotionally.

About my class
