The two wordless books will help my students with making inferences based on only seeing what is happening in the story. The wordless books will help ESL students feel more comfortable with the inferencing activity. When kids are comfortable they can focus on and enjoy what they are doing. These bean bags will add flexible seating to the library center in the classroom. I am hoping to encourage students to sit in a welcoming area and foster a love of books and eventually reading. In the library center, students learn proper book handling skills, to track words from left to right as well as the different parts of books. Students will definitely love and find the library center more inviting with the addition of the bean bags.

About my class
