These resources will support our school on our road to social and emotional learning. We have made a recent turn to focusing on social and emotional learning. With that being said, we are in need of resources to support this change. Our students thrive when having hands on activities to participate in. With the support of this Donors Choose Project, I will be able to support my students and their continuous growth. Many of my students struggle with expressing themselves or regulating their feelings when experiencing an emotional upset. The books will bring new ways I can teach students about their feelings and emotions. Items such as play doh and kinetic sand are important in my school for students who are sensory seeking or are in need of a small break.
