We will use these materials early in the mornings to help our brains "warm up" for the day. As students enter the room, they will engage in creative, thought-provoking activities instead of tradition written morning work. They will build structures with blocks, play Operation or Perfection, work with others to problem solve, and most of all have fun. I am hoping to ignite thinking and learning as well as improve our classroom community. Kids LOVE these things and they have no idea they're learning, developing, and making memories as they "work".
