My little mathematicians need hands-on games and activities so they can experience math in new and fun ways that will challenge them and help them grow into math experts! These activities allow for students to work with partners and in small groups to practice math concepts in exciting and engaging ways. By making math interactive and fun, my second graders will learn to love math and become mathematical masters! These games cover some of the most important second-grade math concepts: addition, subtraction, place value, money, and geometry. Most of them are self-checking and allow students to check their own responses, helping them build math skills on their own. All of these games and activities were hand-picked because they allow collaboration among students, are fun to play, and, most importantly - they build a strong foundation of math skills!
